The room was not ready at 4 pm. We had to wait 2 hrs. This is an average hotel to slightly better than average. The restaurants in the hotel(5 of them) are way too pricey. And the food is small portions, really! ...read more

Bed bugs! Our sofa was infested with mites or some other kinds of critters. This was the absolute worst stay at a Marriott that I have ever experienced. The night we arrived, my girlfriend went to sleep on the sofa and woke up two hours later with both arms and one side of her face (the side she was laying on) covered in bumps and itching intensely. Great hotel with superbly appointed rooms. Nicely situated on the beach and our room and location were very quiet. Super friendly staff and wonderful gym/spa.

This was a very nice hotel but construction was not confined to specific floors and was outside our door. The elevators were affected by this. One of the restaurants was closed.

This hotel is undergoing a complete renovation. When that's done, I think it will be a really nice place to stay. I would wait until 2009 to visit. Right now there is a mishmash of loud construction noise throughout the hotel and some very dated rooms. The public areas are nice but the services and restaurants are unfordable by western standards. ...read more
